Saturday Breakfast
The Barony of Shattered Crystal will be providing a pancake breakfast on Saturday morning! Coffee, juice, and more will be available. There will be a tip jar to show your appreciation for what is otherwise a free breakfast.
Saturday Lunch: Taste of the Midlands
We invite you to embrace the bread-tastic theme of Baroness Wars as Taste of the Midlands returns this year. Recipes can be from anywhere, but we are encouraging you to find recipes that could be served in, on, or next to pita bread. Pita bread will be provided.
The Tournament of Arts will draw many visitors from beyond our region, so this is a time to shine and show off the culinary skills of the Midlands. You can enter as much or as little as you would like. You can join as an individual, shire, cooks’ guild, barony, or just a group of friends. Lunch dishes should attempt to be period and will be evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges. (Actual esteem may vary)
The competition will open at 11:30am for the judging panel and participants to sample the recipes. At noon, we will open to the populace to enjoy the entries. We cannot guarantee that there will be enough to feed everybody at the event without lots of people entering, so please consider bringing something to share.
We are asking each entrant to provide 48 tasting portions (about half the size of a normal portion), with six portions set aside for the royals and judging panel. You can serve Top Chef style, or drop off your entry. Recipes should be from the SCA period, but documentation is not required. Ingredient lists are strongly encouraged as we have many members with allergies and dietary restrictions.
Please be aware that this is a camping site, and while electricity will be available, refrigeration will not.
Winners will be chosen from each of the categories listed on the form and a Best Over All.

One Paw Tiger Inn
The return of the One Paw Tiger Inn and their infamous Aztec Night/ Meat Night on Saturday Night. The bar will be back as well! Watch for menu updates and other information in the Facebook event. Make sure you stick around for the shenanigans.
We’ve got a really busy weekend, and we’re unsure what time court will be finished, so we’re going with a simpler menu this year. Food will be ready 30 minutes after evening court is finished, whatever time that might be.
So, it’s basically taco night, cleverly disguised as Aztec Night. We will have a variety of options that should offer a pleasurable experience for everyone.

FOOD:
For meats we will have seasoned ground beef and cilantro lime chicken.
We will also have veggie quesadillas with cheese, bell peppers, and onions.
Sides will include street corn, dirty rice, beans, chips + homemade salsa.
There will be a limited amount of a special slaw for “borscht tacos” for the adventurous!
*No pineapple, capsaicin, or peppers with capsaicin will be used*
After you eat, please join the One Paw for an evening of games and revelry.
DRINKS:
The One Paw Bar will be open featuring Buzz Bomb Brewing Co beers, beers from our friends, cocktails, and wine. Ask about the dirty sock 
There will be soda and some other NA options available as well.
