The Shire of Swordcliff, based in Springfield, Illinois, is a part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a non-profit international organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre-17th century history. We are located in the Midlands region of the Middle Kingdom and we meet twice monthly for business and arts & science meetings as well as hold weekly practice for armored combat, rapier combat, and archery.
